Jess knew from a young age that she wanted to be a physio when she found herself visiting one nearly every week for her various sporting injuries. All throughout her undergraduate Exercise Science and Master of Physiotherapy degrees at Griffith University on the Gold Coast she dreamed of becoming a sports physiotherapist.
However after working in her first few jobs, Jess’ competitive spirit led her to realize that she didn’t want to be a general physiotherapist. Instead, she wanted to specialize in an area that she could become really good at and, being a headache and migraine sufferer herself, decided The Headache, Neck & Jaw Clinic would be a perfect fit.
Since graduation, Jess has worked in the Private Hospital setting managing Post Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical patients, as well as working closely with adolescent athletes both in a private clinic and as a sports medical officer at school sporting games. Jess has also completed her Level 1 Pilates Matwork Accreditation through the Pilates Institute of Queensland.
In her free time, Jess enjoys taking regular Pilates classes and heading back down to the sunny Gold Coast for a swim or surf whenever she can.
Jessica practices at the:
Nundah Clinic: Monday - Thursday
North Lakes Clinic: Friday Morning
