David Kim

David Kim began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition at the University of Queensland, where his fascination with human movement and the intricate relationship between the mind and body was sparked. This passion led him to pursue a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Griffith University.

His interest in neck and jaw conditions developed when Scott, one of the Directors of the Headache Neck and Jaw Clinic, presented as a guest lecturer at Griffith University. Since then, he has felt a strong connection to this specialised field, enjoying the complexity and challenges associated with treating jaw-related conditions.

David joined the HNJ team in 2022 and has continued to enhance his skills by completing dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, and advanced manual therapy courses. He is also qualified in the Watson Headache® Institute Level 1 and 2 Foundation Courses.

With years of experience in the hospitality and retail sectors, David values clear communication and prioritises building strong client relationships. He focuses on ensuring mutual understanding and shared goals to achieve optimal recovery and well-being.
