Trina Morris is a highly skilled physiotherapist with nearly two decades of experience treating headaches and migraines, specialising in manual cervical spine techniques to alleviate debilitating symptoms. She is deeply committed to ongoing education, research, and innovation in this field, using advanced methods like the Watson Headache Approach to provide effective relief.
Trina holds a Master's in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and is fully accredited through all levels of the Watson Headache® Institute (Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4). Trina is one of a handful of people to have completed Level 4. Her expertise has benefited numerous patients, often succeeding where other healthcare professionals have not. She actively collaborates with neurologists, dentists, doctors, and other medical practitioners to advocate for physiotherapy as part of comprehensive headache and migraine management.
Trina is continuously furthering her education, attending numerous courses on the cervical and thoracic spine, concussion management, breathing dysfunction, chronic pain management, and TMJ (Jaw) dysfunction. Passionate about helping individuals regain control over their health and well-being, Trina is committed to providing personalised care and empowering patients to live an improved quality of life.
Trina has been an invited speaker at international and national symposiums, including the International Headache Symposium in Italy and events for professional associations in Australia. She is also involved in migraine-specific research in South Australia, addressing various conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia, menstrual migraines, and cervicogenic headaches.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Trina holds a Bachelor’s in Human Movements and Psychology from Simon Fraser University. Now based in Australia, she is passionate about empowering patients to improve their quality of life through personalised care while embracing the Australian lifestyle—though she still prefers maple syrup over Vegemite!
